World of Truckers

World of Truckers is a portal created by a truck driver for his fellow colleagues, regular drivers, to make their work a bit easier, especially for the young and inexperienced.

Additionally, many professionals and companies involved in freight transportation will find useful information here and, if desired, can even share their own.

The content of this portal is created by truck drivers who care about their colleagues. They work in Ukraine, across the European Union, as well as in Canada and the USA. There’s no artificial content here — it’s real life, real experience, and real information.

What documents a driver needs, where to get them, and how to fill them out. Information about fines, driver work and rest periods, and a tachograph manual. We also provide well-detailed descriptions of dangerous goods (ADR) and their transportation, as well as tunnel passage regulations with ADR. You, dear reader, can also contribute or correct something if we’ve made a mistake.

All articles include documentation.

Find a parking spot on World of Truckers

Drivers need a place to stop and rest — a parking lot. Over time, we hope to build a powerful database of parking spots, which can be found on the World of Truckers portal.

Parking spots are added by drivers who have already been there and have seen the area firsthand. You are also welcome to contribute; this way, we can add more parking spots to our portal and make them easier to find. Especially valuable are the spots where you can take a break in big cities—there are very few of them, and if they exist, only the locals know about them.

Adding a parking spot is easy—find the form on the homepage, fill it out, click the button at the end of the form, and that’s it, the parking spot is added.

We aim to add as many transportation companies as possible, along with information about them. If you know of such a company, add it and write a review. There are many great transportation companies where drivers wait in line for employment, but there are also those that are always looking for employees. It would be interesting to know why—why can’t some find drivers, while others have many applicants to choose from? So share information—someday someone’s post may help you, too.
