Probably every driver who loads up for Spain is looking for a seaside parking spot for trucks. Unfortunately, even when the route runs along the coast and the unloading is in a small coastal town, it is not always possible to take a break by the sea.
If you have an unloading on Monday somewhere in Cartagena and you arrive on Friday evening, then you are lucky! You will spend the weekend in sunny Spain, just 10 minutes from the sea.
To reach a good beach, you need to take a 2 km walk. But it’s worth it!

This parking lot is located at the CEPSA gas station, a small free parking area for about 10 trucks. The station has only a toilet, no shower.
600 meters away, there is a Spar supermarket.
A bit further, a 15-minute walk, is a Lidl supermarket.
A 2 km walk will take you to the Carrefour hypermarket.
As you can see, you won’t have any issues with food and drinks. Besides the sea, there are many other attractions and interesting places to explore, such as the National Museum of Underwater Archaeology.
